Very good condition original WWII Soviet Russian Model 1927 Shashka cavalry sword. This interesting example is unmarked and is a private contract example. 32” blade has beautiful original bright finish and was still has original leather washer at the base. Brass hilt fittings have nice looking patina. Wood grip has original finish and shows some normal wear. Fitted in correct original wooden scabbard that has brass fittings and is in good condition. The black treated cloth covering shows some wear and loss. A classic WWII Russian Shashka that will make a fine addition to a collection.
