Condition:
The sword is in good serviceable condition and has been previously used. The grip, guard and pommel are all firmly attached. The blade edge is factory edge. There are no nicks to the blade but there are some minor scratches. There is minor rust and pitting. The bayonet is rusty and the latch is not functional. With some cleaning and WD40 it may be operable again, but at the moment it is rusted shut. It is unmarked and has minor nicks and scratches.
The sheath is in good shape, it has no dings, but a little bit of rust and scratches. Also, the brass is tarnished. The bracket that holds the bayonet is securely fastened to the scabbard and is tarnished as well. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
