Cavalry saber ,Soviet ,M27, 1939 ,with a bayonet,with an original strap,the brand ZIK 1939 stands on the heel of the blade,native factory collection,mint minus condition (there are minor scuffs on the scabbard), on three parts of the scabbard there is a stamp of acceptance-K (37-38 year),on the saber itself there is a stamp-L (39 year), there is a stamp on the mouth and on the tip -M (38-42), it turns out that the checker was assembled in early 1939 using parts of the previous year of release, a frequent and common phenomenon.The blade is perfect, smooth, in its native polish, the "fire" checker.Enjoy who loves this type of weapon, a great item to collect. In 1939, 25,878 checkers with bayonet sockets were manufactured.
