WW2 RED ARMY MILITARY ISSUE MAP PROTRACTOR, Dated 1941
Made in clear plastic, comes in original paper envelope. Measures about 8" in length, 5" in height. Note that the Soviet Army called this tool a "transportir". Both the protractor and envelope show a 1941 date of manufacture.  GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL item from early WW2, not a more recent issue or replica!
The paper envelope is very brittle, may have a clipped corner and small tears / clips on the edges especially on the side with the opening, and shows wear from long storage (and maybe a pen or pencil mark from where some Soviet quartermaster counted it in a long-forgotten inventory). The "squared off" protractor however is in unused, mint condition.
Please note: we have several of these in stock, and our photos show a representative example. All are in pretty much the same condition. Unusual item for a WW2 collector or for a collection of geometry or map making tools!
