WW2 Russian NKVD KGB M35 Tunic Gimnasterka w/Insignia.Rare.Orig.

Description

Extremely rare original WW2 Russian NKVD (KGB) M35  Tunic Gimnasterka complete with all buttons, set of collar tabs and embroidered bullion sleeve  insignia of star with hammer and sickle and NKVD emblem on both sleeves. It is constructed from the tightly woven  khaki cotton fabric with a stand-and- fall collar (M35, was in service before 1943). One star shows 2 small moth holes. Other than that condition of the tunic is excellent - clean, no tears or other damages. It has several stampings on reverse with some unknown for me numbers and one is maker's stamp with the date 1942. I don't see size stamp. My approx. measurements are:
Arm pit to arm pit - 24"
Shoulder - 19.5"
Collar - 16.5"
Length (front) - 33".
Some musty smell due to the long storage. But came from the smoke free house.
It is hard to find right now items like this one, it was since 70s in our collection and now it could be a nice and rare addition to any collection.
