    Description

    This is an authentic soviet soldiers' cigarette case that depicts a scene from Victor Vasnetsov painting "Knight at the Crossroads".
    This cigarette case apart from an intricate drawing has 3 more interesting elements.
    First being the inclusion of the owners' initials in brass element attached to the front case (R.S.)
    Second, a soviet 10 kopeek coin (1940) attached in the insides, to bring good luck sparing the soldier. We can see the coin was previously attached at the front, but later changed.
    And the third being the inscriptions at the back. 1944 Dnestr and after the war finished, in 1945 - Odessa port city.
