Please email with any questions. Framed vintage 13 1/2" by 9" gelatin silver photograph by Herman Mishkin of American soprano Geraldine Farrar, signed "Love from Geraldine" along the left edge of the image. I think the photograph dates to 1931 because that date is written on the back along with more information. Geraldine Farrar stands beneath a portrait of her painted by Friedrich August von Kaulbach around 1906. I can't quite make out the name of the house- looks like Casewell, where the photograph was taken. The image does show some creases at the corners, and a tear top left. The 17 1/2" by 13" frame is gilt and black wood, the mat is blue. From a local estate.
