Vintage Indy 500 Wooden Skateboard w/red design, clay wheels.
Vintage skateboard from Indy skateboards with an Indy 500 design on the front. Red stripes, design is faded but still visible.
Wheels and trucks are worn. Trucks have visible surface rust spots and a lot of play. Clay wheels are worn on the surface. Wheel model is Chicago No 76P.
I am not an expert, but I would place the board from the 1960s given the design and clay wheels. Deck is potentially made of teak wood given the straightness of the grain and weight/density of the wood for the size of the board. Deck is very straight and not warped and approximately 1 inch thick. There is a split on the nose where there is a join/joint in the boards. Board has other surface and cosmetic perfections as expected for a vintage skateboard.
