A rare pre-war
Vintage Match Box Holder
of the Red Army with a military-patriotic plot.
"FAB.MASS.ED.  LENOBLSOBESA.  L-GR.  The matchbox was made at the Mass Products Factory (“FABMASS”) in Leningrad (32 Ligovskaya st.), and at the time of manufacture the factory was under the jurisdiction of LENOBLSOBESA.
In 1933, the factory was under the jurisdiction of the All-Russian Observatory.  In October 1935, the Vseroobpom Society was annulled.  In the same year, "FABMASS" came under the jurisdiction of the Enterprise Production Department (UPP) of Lenoblsobes.  And in 1939 it was already under the jurisdiction of the Leningrad Regional Administration of Local Industry.
