Vintage Allen Solly Red Blue Gold Stripe Suspenders w/ Leather Button Braces NWT

Vintage Allen Solly Red Blue Gold Stripe Suspenders w/ Leather Button Braces NWT in original box. I believe the straps are made of grosgain ribbon and have double button tabs made of leather.
The strap adjusters are an antiqued gold metal with a lightly brushed finished.
Condition is NEW with defects including: a bit of discoloration on one of the metal adjusters (which I have not tried to clean) as shown in the last 2 photos above.
These do have a musty, dusty odor from sitting in a garage or something for a long time which can probably be steamed or cleaned but I'm unsure how.
Original box/packaging has some minor damage overall and one corner the blue paper is coming off a little.
I found similar items but not by Allen Solly.
I am unsure on how "vintage" they are. Burdines department store is where they were sold. Burdines was a Florida department store that was later bought out by Macy's. They are at least 16-17 years old but the box and tags look to date them older than that. These might be good in a drama club for a costume.
