    Description

Vintage 1978 G&S Steve Cathey Fibreflex Skateboard - Complete
Stage 1 Indy T-Hanger Trucks and Gyro Aluminum Hub Wheels
This is a later (1978-ish) Steve Cathey board with the die-cut diamond grip tape instead of the earlier 3M rubber grip. The board has a slight rocker shape and is set up right with hard to find Stage 1 Independent 88mm trucks and Gyro hubbed freestyle wheels.
The top and bottom are red Bo-Tuff, with 3 wood plys in between.

    Condition:
This original board is a survivor of the 70's and in really nice shape. It's clear it's been used, but the nose and tail look really good and there are minimal scratches from use - certatinly, less than you'd expect for a 43 year old skated board. The rare Stage 1 trucks look good and the wheels have just minor coning. There is a name written in marker on the bottom side of the deck, but it has mostly faded from the years. Check out the extra large photos for more details. This is pure skateboarding history.
