This bed is built from Classic White melamine with brushed chrome contemporary handles. The bed uses a piston mechanism that has a smooth operation when opening and closing. Our murphy beds require a standard Queen size innerspring mattress that should NOT exceed 12 inches in thickness. The murphy bed attaches to your wall, only at the top/back, into the studs in the wall. Installation is extremely easy, and requires two people, and about an hour and a half of their time.
