Sir Rudolf Bing, KBE (1902-1997) - Austrian-born opera impresario who worked in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, most notably being General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City from 1950 to 1972. He was naturalized as a British subject in 1946 and was knighted in 1971.
5.5“ x 3.5“ black and white glossy photograph postcard signed and inscribed In felt tip pen. There is no writing on the back side. Very fine.
This is from an extensive 50 year collection covering all categories, that was built from the 1940’s through the 1980’s.
