The Quik-Latch mini latches are of the same basic design as the larger hood pin sets, but scaled down and significantly cheaper. In addition with the ability to function as automotive fasteners, the Mini Latches have multiple applications for which they could be utilized, even outside the realm of automotive customization. That is the real advantage of the Quik-Latch mini - its versatility. Our customers have used them on street rods, dedicated drag race cars, cabinets, custom enclosures, remote control model airplanes, and go carts, to name a few. There are probably customers out there who have found applications that we don't even know about yet. If you have something that needs to open and close repeatedly that also needs to be securely latched, a Quik-Latch mini could most likely be adapted.
The Quik-Latch mini latch is a push button latch roughly larger in diameter than a quarter. It is incredibly strong for its size as well, as it can withstand a pulling force of 150 pounds before experiencing failure. The latches have been approved by the NHRA for use in drag racing competition, which lends credibility for how strong and durable the latches are.
Please note: In the pictures where 2 Minis are used on a hood, the stock latch is still retained. If removing the hood latch, either more mini fasteners or a full size set of Quik Latch 50 Series Hood Pins would be needed
The Quik-Latch mini latches are made of T-6 aluminum and stainless steel, which resists corrosion. They can also be painted or powder coated if a customer so desires. Last, but not least, the latches are manufactured to the highest of standards in the United States.

For Domestic shipments, we ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS as stated in the listing.
For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Overseas Customers, Our Ebay Shipping Calculator has problems automatically showing shipping for these locations, but we can ship to you! Message us!
UPS and FedEx cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, so please provide an alternate ship-to address with your payment.
Expedited shipping is available from UPS and USPS, please email us for a shipping price if needed.
A tracking or delivery confirmation number will always be provided once your item(s) ships.
NOTE:
Due to the sheer volume of packages that we ship each day, we cannot track every package once it leaves our facility. It is up to the buyer to notify us about any in-transit problems. We will gladly assist in any claims with the carrier that we used to ship your item(s).
International:
For International shipments, we ship via UPS, USPS or DHL. Which carrier is used depends on your location. We will choose the carrier that will deliver the quickest for your location.

Some warranty claims can be handled by us, but most must be submitted directly to the manufacturer. In either case, we will assist in the process. Please send us a message here on ebay or call us toll free at 1-800-846-4252 Ext. 9 to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number before sending any merchandise back to us. Issued RMA numbers will only be valid for 30 days.
Return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase, and a refund will not be processed until inspected upon return to us. Returns must be in new, resellable condition.
Returned item(s) must be in a shipping box, not shipped in the factory packaged box that the item comes from the factory. If an item is shipped back to us for a return without the original factory supplied box, a 20% re-stocking fee will automatically be applied.
Returns of electrical items must be in "as-new" and still remain factory sealed. A testing and re-stocking fee of at least 20% will apply if the item does not meet these requirements.
