    Description

    This is a publicity photo issued by the Metropolitan Opera, showing baritone Martial Singher in the role of Golaud in the Met's 1950's-era production of Debussy's "Pelleas et Melisande", which also featured Theodor Uppmann as Pelleas. There is a publicity stamp from the Met on the reverse of the photo, and there seems to be a light crease at the lower left corner. Please see my other opera listings.
