This offer is for a STORE DISPLAY Copy of an EMPTY cd Longbox by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits and Chect Atkins of the album release called " Neck And Neck "  . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1990  on the CBS Records label with a CAT. NR . 45307 .    The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in fairly Nice condition - but with no shrink wrap - and still has its dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened , but has been removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open with a razor blade at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled open very nicely -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.  There is some very slight shelf wear signs - due to the removal of shrink wrap.  There is a small piece of tape / label residue on the very bottom - middle on the back side .
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
