King Alfonso La Favorita Opera Earl Meeker Publicity Photo Murillo LA CA Vtg
--- Approx 7.25" x 9.25".  One of two publicity photos of Earl Meeker in the role of King Alfonso the opera La Favorita.  The other photo is signed by Earl Meeker on the back with his address and that he is a Baritone (the hand writing on the back of this one is close enough to make me think he signed it himself on the back, but I'm not sure, it could have been done by his agent or someone else).   This photo is signed in white ink by what I take to be Murillo and it looks like LA (the other photo shows the address of Earl Meeker is in Los Angeles).  Mild vertical impression crease left side (likely from storage).  Some surface scratches, small nicks etc.  On a medium to heavier weight quality paper.  I would guess 1920's-1930's.
