This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by K.D. Lang of the album release called " Absolute Torch and Twang "   . This longbox release was originally issued in 1989 on the Sire Records label with a CAT. NR . :25877-2 .     The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in good condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open on the back side with a razor blade near and adjacent to the very bottom back side seam  - adjacent to the bottom flap -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.  The cut mark made on the back side is made about 1/8" imnch from the very bottom . The small side tab at the bottom of the left side bottom spine side is still attached by a small portion about 1/8" inch from the very bottom.   The small side tab issue is Not visible for front side viewing .
There is a red & yellow 3/4" inch square manufacturer's square sticker affixed to the outside of the longbox by the record label in the bottom-left corner.  The sticker may or may not possibly be removed -  but is Not imprinted in the graphics in this longbox issue .
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
