Pewter Service Award Trophy given in 1872 by the Loyal Burgh Lodge.
We are pleased to present this most unusual item for your consideration. It is a Pewter Service Award Trophy given in 1872 by the
Loyal Burgh Lodge
. The following is engraved on the front (see pictures 2 and 3 for a close up of the text):

on August 7th, 1872
The Trophy measures 8-5/8 inches high, 8 inches wide (at the handles), and 4-1/2 inches in diameter at the rim. The base is 4 inches in diameter. It weighs 1 pound 10 ounces.
The condition of the Trophy is very good. There is a dent on the back side (see picture 8) and some irregularity to the rim, but nothing in the way of major damage. It sits flat, and looks fantastic. All pictures show the actual Trophy you will receive.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece, in exceptional condition for its age. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
