    Description

    New Permatex threadlocker.  This is the red gel, medium strength.  .18 oz squeeze tube.  This is for use on fasteners 3/8" to 1" in thread size, where you do not want the fastener/bolt to loosen on it's own.
    TIPS :
    Fasteners sealed with blue threadlocker can typically be removed with hand tools, fasteners sealed with red threadlocker typically require a larger leverage tool, an impact gun, or heat for removal.  We typically use blue for thread locking fasteners that do not rotate or are not in high vibration areas.  We typically use red for fasteners in high vibration areas (like brake caliper bolts) or rotational areas (such as a camshaft bolt).
