    These heavy-duty, queen size, bed slats are custom cut to the width you need. Each set has a total of 9 boards that are approximately 3/4" thick x 5 3/4" wide. Depending on your bed length, you will between 2 and 3 inches of a gap between boards. The extra large wood plank bed slats can provide the support you need for your mattress so no box spring is needed. However, if you do have a box spring, these slats can add support to your current mattress and box spring combination. For an accurate fit, measure the width of your bed frame, in three spots, the head/middle/foot, prior to purchasing your slats. Allow 1/4" play on either side of the bed frame when measuring.
