Antique Sword PAX AUT PAXAUT Bellum Victorian Patriarch Militant Sword + sheath

Description

I know nothing about swords, but just couldn't pass this on up!  It is so ornate and
handsome.  35" long.   I do not know age.  Blade and sheath have discolorations
and are tarnished.  I did not clean or polish.
Couple things to point out;  last picture shows that there is something missing from the end of the handle.
1 ring missing (picture #10).
