Acu-Rite III, Single Axis DRO Digital Readout head, Working Anilam Bridgeport

Description

Here's a used Acu-Rite III, One axis Digital Readout head. In very good working and cosmetic condition. Has attached standard 110V power cord.
This unit has been tested with a scale and works properly.
Uses standard Acu-rite 6 pin round military connectors.
This DRO head also works with Anilam scales.
I kept this unit around to use on a surface grinder, but got rid of the grinder.
It would also be good on any system where you need just one axis readout, or to add another axis to machine-like as the third axis for a mill that has a 2 axis DRO already.
The head has a Radius/Diameter switch on the back, so this head might be good for the Z axis of a lathe.
NOTE: You must set the resolution to the scale you have, otherwise the head won't read correctly. I will not accept a return because the head doesn't read correctly!
The last pic is of the resolution setting instructions from the manual. You can google and download the manual as well.
No scales or other accessories are included. Just the head as shown in the photos.
