USSR Field binoculars 8x40, 1939 year. Production - Krasnogorsk, USSR. The binoculars weigh is 1.390g. Intended for the senior command staff of the Red army. Quite a rare model. Produced from 1930 to 1941. In total, less than 80 thousand copies were released during this time. The optics are in a nice condition for it`s age, almost clean, without chips or cracks. Measuring scale available. Sharpness adjustment works well. The bakelite eyecups are cracked. It was actively used during the Second World War. Soviet symbols are partially erased, it is possible that the binoculars were used by the opposing forces as a trophy. The general external condition of the binoculars shown at the photos. A good and rather rare item for the collection.
