About this work:
There are 8 distinct graphics in this work including
images and text. The main body is a statue and
American flag double exposure was taken at
Resthaven Cemetary 20 or more years ago with my
Minolta 35mm. The flames were captured at the wildfires
in OK in 2017 with my digital Canon EOS.
I also added the stars to the flag from a picture of my own flag.
because the 35mm negative had deteriorated.
Lots of image enhancements and corrections,
with 4 revisions before I was satisfied with the final product.

I need to pass this on to you:
When I began crafting this idea I started having multiple
issues. My digital Canon decides to stop focusing,
and so I manually focused, then the card started
fragmenting the images. I tried a different card and am still
having the problems. So I am using an old cell phone
camera and my malfunctioning Canon to post until
I can take better quality photos.
Then I began having blue screen issues with my computer.
I believe that when we try to draw closer to God we also
experience the Devil trying to keep that from happening.
I know this might sound strange... I feel these technical
issues are evidence that I am on the right path.
I hope this is the case. I want to be closer to my savior.
