    16 GB RAM - I upgraded it to 16 GB and it runs super smoothly.
    2x 5.5 TB Seagate HDD. You get to use the device right away and it still has two free bays if you want to increase storage. With 2x 5.5 TB on Synology's redundant storage system (Synology Hybrid RAID) you get 5.2 TB of storage. But once you have the unit, you reconfigure this anyway you want.
    Great for running your own services via Docker or the Synology "app store".
